The Day After

Last night I went to bed before the final tally was complete. This morning as I got on FB I read posts of despair along with gloating posts & pictures. While I don’t like many of Obama’s policies, decisions, or actions over the past 4 years he is still the president of my country & I will continue to do what I have done for as long as I can remember. I will pray for the leader of our country.

I will pray the following:
1. That the President’s heart be placed in the hands of the Lord and God would direct his every decision.
Proverbs 21:1

2. That the President would be surrounded by good men and women to advise him and that evil influences would be removed.
Proverbs 25:5

3.  That the President and his administration have the wisdom and courage to find and punish evil criminals, governments, and terrorists.
Proverbs 20:26

4. That God will help the President be truthful and merciful, and that he would have a heart for the citizens of our country.
Proverbs 20:28

5. That the President would have a hunger and thirst for God.
Proverbs 8:15

I don’t have to despair or worry because ultimately I know God has a plan and a purpose for us and HE will turn everything to good for those who love him.
Romans 8:28
