Oy vey!

I have heard people say that with each pregnancy you show sooner, feel things earlier, and can have more symptoms... but this week I was hit with a doozy! On Saturday we worked in the yard pulling weeds and generally just enjoying the warm sun. On Sunday we took a trip to the mall to walk around and spend . When I started feeling a back ache Sunday night I thought I had simply overdone it.

After laying on my side for a few hours I noticed that my face was getting hot while my body was covered in goosebumps and chills.... this was my uhohhh moment. I don't get sick easily, but when I do it hits me hard. Up until now I have been blessed to never have experienced a UTI, alas that was at an end... thankfully I had my OBGYN appointment on Monday morning. My DR diagnosed me with a kidney infection, but thankfully my temp had dropped and I was safe to go home with an antibiotic.

All of the prayers/ meds have been working and I am feeling much better!

Wiggles, Giggles, and Birthday Parties!

Time has flown by! It doesn't seem possible, but somehow my little Chloebug is 9! I can still vividly remember the day she was born, the first time I held her, and the first time I kissed her little nose.

There have been countless hugs, kisses, tears, giggles, and moments that I will always treasure. It has been amazing to see her personality develop. I'm sure that there will be many frustrating moments as she nears the teen age years, but for now I will treasure the times she asks to snuggle with me or to read a book with her.

Chloe's birthday is on a school day this year so we decided to have the slumber party before her actual birthday. (BTW this can cause confusion for little girls LOL) Hannah spent the night with one of her favorite people in the world, and Jeff locked himself in his office all night. So all the party stuff was left for me to handle... everyone who really knows me should know that it wasn't an issue... I LOVE planning events and parties!

With everyone else taken care of it was time to party!!! After gorging themselves on pizza, wings, and lemonade the girls decided that it was time to dance! I tried to video the girls dancing, but I was laughing too hard to get a good video of them grooving to the music. Watching 8 little girls dance to "U Can't Touch This", "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", " Groove Is in the Heart", and " Hot N Cold" was just too cute for words!

*Side note for those that have never played Just Dance on the Wii, I highly recommend it! It is a fun game that gets your butt up off of the couch and you don't even notice that you are working out. After five or six dances you will probably feel it, but you will be laughing the whole way through!


All in all things went really well, and Chloe has enjoyed 3 days of birthday festivities. Not too shabby for keeping things on a budget either! :)
